Mascara-rama

L'oreal Telescopic Waterproof is by far the best mascara I have ever used. Fact.

I was first introduced to the wonder-product through Vivianna's blog, who full on raves about it in pretty much every tutorial or makeup post she has ever done! My only hesitation in buying this was that as it is a waterproof mascara, it was going to inevitably be a bitch to remove at night, and blimey was I right. This stuff does not budge, transfer or flake whatsoever throughout the day on me, but in the evening it puts up a tremendous fight when I'm trying to scrub it off my lashes. After fighting a long and difficult battle using many different eye makeup removers I have finally found one up to the challenge with Clinique Take The Day Off Eye-Makeup Remover which seems to do the trick when removing the stubborn build up on my lashes.

All waterproof problems aside, this is literally the only mascara I have ever found to hold curl perfectly through a 12 hour long day! I have the straightest, most lack luster lashes that you might be able to find, and usually, even after the longest curling session with my Shu Uemura Eyelash Curlers, as soon as I apply a coat of non-waterproof mascara they lay completely flat and just look a little sad and meh. Until I found this. Telescopic leaves them perfectly in the position I created with my eye lash curlers throughout the whole day, and my lashes look exactly the same at 8pm in the evening as when I applied it fresh in the morning at 8am. Truly amazing stuff. Dare I say a holy grail product for me!?

I am a complete and utter waterproof mascara convert it seems, and I think I may have to trial a few more to see if any can actually contest this one. Doubtful maybe? Anyway I would love to hear your waterproof favourites if you have any!

As always, have a fantastic week!

PS- I did a guest post on Sabrina's blog at A Little Obsessed here, if you want to have a read! It features a lot of pictures of me in denim doing my best awkward poses, enjoy!

Peace - Matalan  Multicoloured - Boots  Turquoise, Orange and Brown - Primark

These are my must have bracelets which frequent my wrists most often. In Summer it doesn't feel right to leave the house without a trove of multicoloured bracelets on my arm to brighten up an outfit and these are the ones I reach for the most. I am always looking around for new, unique jewellery, so let me know where you find you bracelets, rings etc!

Have fun in the sun!

Nubar Nail Lacquer is a new discovery for me on the nail front this year! It is a light reflective top coat incorporating tiny flecks of glitter, which put over any nail colour will glimmer and shine into rainbow dimensions. I paired it above with a Fearne Cotton polish from Boot's Christmas collection last year; a deep navy with iridescent flecks, so the glitter is on all levels for maximum sparkle. The Fearne polish is absolute beautiful on its own but paired with the Nubar top coat it is just something else, I haven't been able to keep my eyes off my nails all week!

They almost look like a galaxy or the stars at night- with all the beauty of nail art but with no work whatsoever! And paired with a slick of Seche Vite top coat to finish my nails have stayed perfect for 4 days, hopefully more!

I picked up my Nubar polish from Feel Unique here although sadly the Fearne polishes are only available at Christmas- boooo!

Are you a fan of the 'flaking' polish trend, and what's your favourite brand for it?!

Leggings - George Tank Top - New Look Fringe Top - New Look Gladiator Sandals - New Look Necklace - Primark Rings - Primark Bracelets - Boots

Dress - George Wellies - Amazon Necklace - Boots

Festival season is just around the corner so it is most definitely time to crack out the wellies and sunnies for some live music, even if the sun is still refusing to rear its head. I'm going to V Festival in August - bring on Snow Patrol!!! - and George at ASDA offered to send me a couple of items to base my festival look on!

The Aztec print leggings are fast becoming a staple in my everyday life, not just my festival wardrobe as they are so damn comfy to wander around in! I paired them with my brand new New Look sandals which I am obsessed with, they are the perfect summer sandals!

I also received this lovely Aztec print dress, which has the most beautiful tie up back to show just the right amount of skin! It was a little too long for my giant legs so I took it up slightly at the hemline and paired it with some wellies, as it is inevitable your going to be slipping and sliding around in the mud for the majority of the festival weekend!

I hope you all have a fantastic time at any festival you are going to, or just an amazing summer!

George at ASDA clothing is available here!

Skirt - Primark (originally)  Blazer - Primark  Stripey Top - H&M  Blouse - Warehouse  Nails - Essie Mint Candy Apple  Rings - H&M

Oh dear god, how tango-ed do my arms look in these pictures?! Please excuse my inadequate tanning, the unpredictable English weather has meant my legs are generally wrapped up in thick tights to avoid the frequent downpours so leg tanning has not been my top priority at the moment!

This pleated leather skirt has become something of a 'blogger's uniform' in recent months, with everyone and their mother seeming to own one, and I have been kicking myself ever since it was out of the shops that I didn't pick one up! Luckily enough I spotted the little beauty on Morven's blog shop here, and snapped it up!

And I'm obsessed! Along with Essie Mint Candy Apple gracing my finger tips I'm feeling very blogger-ish today, and loving it!

Have a fantastic weekend!

No 7 Tinted Moisturiser, Collection 2000 Concealer, No 7 Blush in Coral Flush, Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzer, Jemma Kidd All Over Radiance Creme in Iced Gold, ELF Mineral Eyeshadow in Elegant, MUA Eyeshadow in Shade 19 (eyebrows), MAC Coffee Eyeliner, Shu Uemura Eyelash Curlers, L'oreal Telescopic Mascara in Waterproof, Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara, MAC Hue Lipstick

Phew, that is a hell of a lot of makeup that I slap on my face on a daily basis! But I am completely loving this combo lately, pink lips and cheeks are my new thing; pink is totally the new coral in Hannah-Land!

Also my new discovery this month has been waterproof mascara! After seeing Vivianna raving constantly about L'oreal Telescopic, I was urged to buy and see what all the fuss was about. And it truly is amazing! No mascara has ever held curl quite like this waterproof version does and my only lash problem at the moment is that they poke the top of my eyelids because it makes my lashes so long and curly! I am a complete waterproof convert, although I kick myself in the evenings when I am pulling and tugging on my delicate lashes, desperately trying to get the stubborn flakes off. Please someone recommend me a miracle eye makeup remover?!

Revlon Lip Butters in Candy Apple and Tutti Frutti
With all the hype surrounding these babies, who was I to ignore and of course I jumped straight on the bandwagon at first chance, and I'm not sorry! These are gorgeous; not amazingly moisturising but beautifully pigmented, and I dare say the red is fast becoming my favourite bright in my whole collection.

Sleek True Colour Lipsticks in Barely There and Peaches & Cream
These are the best lipsticks to come out of high street brands for a long time! Pigmented, creamy, soft and easy to apply with a fantastic shade range, what more do you want!?

NYX Mega Shine Lipgloss in Smokey Look
The most gorgeous nude, peach lip gloss, non-sticky and smells like summer!

Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfector in 02 Apricot Shimmer
This has to be my favourite lip gloss of all time. Its sheerness, and soft glossy look makes it the most perfect product for natural daytime looks.

MAC Lipsticks in Shy Girl and Hue
Hue is so loved that this is actually my second tube of it, and Shy Girl is a new discovery - when I'm pale this is a massive no-no but with a tan this is perfect! Although I wish it didn't have the small particles of glitter- sort it out MAC!

Ok, so the Coldplay concert at the Emirates stadium was AMAZING! Flashing wristbands, bouncing, blow up balls and confetti fountains were just the peak of Chris Martin's little box of surprises up his sleeve! Simon Pegg seemingly popped up from nowhere in the middle of the concert playing the harmonica, and even after being subjected to listening to the crazy warbling of Robyn as a support act the whole crowd were buzzing for Chris and the Crew.

The whole things was magic, and completely surreal when the light up wristbands were flashing in time with Paradise, Charlie Brown and lighting up the London skies. Please, I beg of you, if you like Coldplay even a smidgen, go see them live! It was literally the most amazing experience of my life and I am sooooo glad I scrambled for tickets last minute!

Boots - Spanish Boutique - Boots
Boots - Primark - Spanish Boutique
H&M - Spanish Boutique - H&M

I always feel a little bit naked if i'm not wearing a ring on each hand. These are a few of my absolute favourite pieces which I lug around on each hand most days, even if a few are just too big to write with!

I especially love the ones I salvaged from little Spanish shops on my holidays as they are so much more unique and interesting than most English shop's offerings! I am constantly on the hunt for original ring designs of all shapes and sizes; rings are by far my absolute favourite jewellery item, they jazz up any outfit with next to no effort at all!

I'm quite interested in getting a few more hand baubles from places like etsy and ebay however they are so hard to find! Any favourite etsy or blog shops you can recommend for rings, anyone?

Have a lovely weekend!

After an extended absence due to the extreme pressure of exams I'm finally back blogging and am most importantly freeeeeee! If you have exams at the moment, good luck!

Now I have my freedom back (that sounds like a was a house elf!) I have been enjoying the beautiful English sunshine over the last few days and also had a little trip down to London's O2 arena to watch the X Factor auditions! It was so beautiful outside I actually got to crack out my new turquoise shorts which I am obsessed with and cannot get enough of!

I am also very overexcited to be going to see Coldplay on Monday night, which I am hopeing will be amazingggg, and that next week is going to be a very good week indeed, lets hope the sun rears it's elusive head once more!
